▶ Your Answer :
There might be some people who believe that many qualities to be a leader are a born-gift. However, I personally disagree with the above idea for two subsequent reasons. First, people can learn leadership in their lives. Second, not every quality is needed to be a leader.
To begin with, many aspects of a leader can be learned. Generally speaking, many factors that contribute to being a good leader, such as charisma, consideration, and courage can be practiced through education. This is the reason for the existence of education. Denying the importance of education is not different from neglecting efforts. Let me bring up my personal story as an example. When I was an elementary student, I was a very shy kid to be a leader. However, I wanted to be a representative of my class. Therefore, I practiced not only to do presentation, but also to act generously to others. I did a variety of efforts to make myself more like a leader. As a result, I was selected as a representative. This clearly shows that a born-gift is not everything to be a leader.
On top of that, it is not necessary to have every quality to be a leader. Generally, the word that there is nothing that a leader cannot do is not true because a leader is not a perfect person. Therefore, if you want to be a leader, it is a good strategy to focus on a particular factor that makes you attractive. For example, when preparing the election in elementary school, I decided to concentrate on consideration and respecting others. This was because, based on my characteristics, those were what I could do best. I realized that it was awkward for me to pretend that I was courageous and had charisma. Consequently, by underlining my strength, I could be a leader of my class. Without this crucial realization, I could not have achieved this goal.
In conclusion, leadership can be learned through efforts and education. Furthermore, people can be a leader without having all the qualities of leadership. In this regard, I firmly think that the quality of a leader is not a born-gift, and everyone can be a leader. |
