▶ Your Answer :
It
is debatable whether parents today are more involved in their children’s
education than in the past. This is an intriguing question because opinions concerning
this issue can be different depending on the individual perspectives. In my
opinion, however, I support that these days parents are more involved in their children’s
education than in the past for the following reasons.
First
of all, parents have more concentrate on the education these days because education
is more important than in the past. To be specific, the world is more globalized
than in the past. It is very difficult for children to have global mind just
only in the school, so parents have to help their children directly. For
example, when I was younger, my parents helped me to have global mind that cannot
learn in the school. My parents introduced me many friends living in other
countries. I played with them and I could learn how to speak English, Chinese
and Japanese even though their cultures also my classmate studied another
language because of their parents. Thanks to parents’ effort, I and my classmates
are living well in the global society. Through this experience, I realized that
parents in today are more involved in their children’s education the in the
past.
In
addition, parents are more interested in children’s education than parents in
the past because people in the modern society are living in the more stressful
life. To be specific, parents must manage children’s stress and this is the education.
Stress is the main cause of disease and dissatisfying life. For example, when I
was in middle school, my friends and I lived very stressful life because of
studying but my parents helped me to manage stress by exercising or watching movies
together with student’s parents. This helped me to forget about the stressful
aspects of my daily life such as studying for exams and writing papers. Through
this experience, I realized that parents are very interested in the education. Hence,
this shows that today parents are more involved in the education than parents
in the past.
In
conclusion, I firmly believe that parents in the modern society are very
involved in the children’s education then parents in the past. All things considered,
it is my belief that my argument regarding this topic has been precisely and effectively
delivered with the reasons I mentioned above.
