▶ Your Answer : In the past times, almost all people think that they can get only one job in their whole lives. Nowadays, some people still are eager to get stable and (perhaps) ever-lasting job but others try to enter in a variety of fields. 'Is it unrealistic for people to work at the same company for their entire lives?' is a debating question that can't be concluded easily. In my opinion, it is unrealistic for people to work at the same company for their entire lives. In social perspective, job rotation is necessary because new informations are created everyday and there are so many people who can replace original workers. Worlds keep change and therefore it would be more efficient to employee new workers who studied that field recently than people who studied that field 10 years ago. For example, design field is very sensitive to fashion. Old designers could surely do well on their jobs but it would be difficult to catch young designers' creative idea. Although people want to work in a same company for a long time, company would replace them with new and passioned workers. Moreover, in personal perspective, people will easily get bored with their job and lost passion in their tasks. According to one experiment, office workers should care '3'. When they work in a company for 3 months, first risk is coming. They are getting used to their jobs and feel little boring about their company life. If they overcome '3 months', and then second risk will come. After they work in a company for 3 years, they feel exhausted with their everyday life and hope to find a new and excited jobs. Like this, people are easily get bored with one job or task and want to get new jobs which can stimulate them. In conclusion, I think it is unrealistic for people to work at the same company for their entire lives, because people will get bored of their jobs and company would want to replace old workers with new workers. Not only to adjust in our social atmosphere, but also to enjoy our working life with excited and interesting job, we should search for various jobs, believing our potentials. |
