▶ Your Answer : Students in the past might have suffered from learning since there were not sufficient means to study, compared to these days. However, as soon as the Internet was shown as a beacon of hope and freedom, students were able to learn, study, and obtain the information they wanted to know. Yet, some people think that the Internet is just a hindrance for students to study. I am against that statement. This is because there is a bunch of information available on the Internet, and students got healthier as the Internet diminished the number of books put in their bags, making students focus on studying effectively.
To begin with, considering the amount of information that exists on the Internet, students can obtain the resources they want by using the Internet rather than borrowing a lot of books. I experienced this with my own body. When I was in university, I had to make a thesis about the human brain in order to graduate. It was a really hard task since it required a lot of information, such as the content from neuroscience, psychology, and brain cells. However, despite the hardship to collect a bunch of information, it was done with ease since all the resources were attainable through the Internet. If it were not the Internet, I probably had to live in the library for days.
On top of that, instead of carrying numerous books to the class, students just have to put a laptop in their bags which is the means to connect the Internet. This could be a big advantage considering the amount of energy wasted and the burden that students’ backs get if they carry a lot of books. For example, there was a time when my friends had a hard time attributable to his injured back. It put a damper on his concentration on the class. However, as soon as his parents bought him a laptop and carried it instead of numerous books, his back condition got better. As a result, he was able to concentrate on his class well. This example shows how the Internet made students study efficiently.
To sum up, tons of resources are attainable on the Internet, and students could put more effort into study due to the reduced weight of their bags. In this regard, I firmly believe that students can learn efficiently, thanks to the internet. |
