Some people believe that the majority of business owners are driven solely by the pursuit of wealth. However, in my opinion, they are not just driven by the pursuit of wealth, considering that some owners lead their business in order to achieve one's own ideal and commit to one's society. To begin with, many business owners (단/복수) have personal hope that they want to make real and the hope can be the driving force behind their business. For instance, I will give an example of Lim Chae Moo, an owner of entertainment business. He is running some entertainment places, especially for children. According to his interview with a magazine, the ultimate purpose of his business is making an ideal place for children. He said that he has (주어 동사 불일치) kept the purpose in the mind for a long time and money is not his end, but the happiness of children. Moreover, many incorporate owners have returned their incomes to their own society. To be specific, they give back to those who are in need of help and support the well-being of the society and the members of it. For instance, there was a survey conducted by a group of sociology majors with 200 business owners as respondents. The purpose of the survey was to understand their thoughts about committing to their society at the return of their profits. The majority of respondents replied that they will devote themselves to the development of the society and welfare of many handicapped people in the society willingly. This survey proves that many business presidents are likely to give support to their society. In conclusion, a lot of entrepreneurs try to realize what they have longed through their business. Additionally, they try to find ways to facilitate (to부정사) the increase of their community's total happiness. In this regard, I firmly assert that business owners are not focused merely on the enlargement of their profits. |
