More specifically, in regards to the passges, the writer puts forth the idea that the hydrogen based fuel-cell engine could replace the internal-combustion engine of the cars. In the listening, the lecturer is quick to point out there are some serious flaws in the writer's claim. In fact, the professor believes that the hydrogen fuel cannot be resources to replace the internal-combustion engines, and addresses, in detail, the trouble with each point made in the reading text.
First and foremost, the author of the reading states that the resources now we are relying on are to limited. SOme professionals in the same field, however, stand in irm opposition to this claim. In the listening, for example, the professor states that to use the hydrogen as a source of engine, it's too difficult them to take numerous and hard process to take.
One group of scholars, represented b the writer, think that replacement of engine will diminish the modern pollution problems. Of course, though,not all experts in this field believe this is accurate. Again, the speaker specifically addresses this point when he states that the purification process that is taken during alternating hydrogen into usable source will cause pollution more than the pollution by the cars.
Finally, the author wraps his argument by positing that the manufacturing system is much expensive and costful than internal-combustion engine. Not surprisingly, the lecturer takes issue with this claim by contending that, later, a lot of people will going to enjoy to use fuel-cell more than internal-combustion because of cheap price.
To sum up, both the writer and professor hold conflicting views about car engine's replacement. It's clear that they will have trouble finding common ground on this issue.
