▶ Your Answer :
Some people think that hasty decisions can be the right ones in certain circumstances. However, in my opinion, hasty decisions are not done rational but done with no such deep thinking. Therefore, those decisions are never the right ones. To begin with, we are not rational when we make hasty decisions. When we make decisions, there is a context of the situation that we should consider and lots of circumstances or impacts that we should consider. Furthermore, there are many variables according to which decision we make. When we need to make decisions, we need to decide with rational thoughts and think deeply, especially when those decisions are important ones. Hasty decisions are made in a situation that a decision should be done very fast, and that means individuals don't have the time to think rationally and calmly about the situation. For example, when me and my friends needed to work on a group project, we did not have much time. We just made decisions very fastly and those hasty decisions ruined some parts of our project. I have learned that hasty decisions are not the right ones at that time. On top of that, we need to consider the impacts of when we make hasty decisions. As I have mentioned before, when I made hasty decisions with my teammates our project was partially ruined. When we don't have such time to think rationally and make hasty decisions, we are more likely to not consider the diverse consequences that our decisions can make. Sometimes hasty decisions could just make a little difference, but there can be a case where people make hasty decisions and their outcome is completely bad. What if the project that me and my friends have done was the graduation project that every people in the school came and listen to our presentation? The result could've been probably worse. To sum up, hasty decisions are never the right ones because we don't think rationally throughout the process and the circumstances could just be worse. In this regard, I strongly believe that hasty decisions are never the right ones. |
