▶ Your Answer : Without a doubt, Media including movies and television has become one of the most important parts of our lives. There are some people who believe that movies and television strongly influence our behavior, while others do not. Both sides may have their own reason to support their idea. If I had to choose one, I would say that movies and television are so influential when it comes to the way people behave. There are several reasons and examples as follows.
To begin with, movies affect the way people act. This is because movies are made for getting the people's attention for making money, the contents and stories are getting more sensitive, violent, and even traumatic. For example, when I was younger, I am enjoying watching every movie. However, as time went by, I lost my interest due to similar stories and tense. So I tried to find more sensitive ones. As the movie makers know customers' minds, they are making movies with lots of violence and sensitive issues. Because of that, I watched several of those kinds of movies that affect me to act more aggressively, which caused me to get the mental treatment for rectifying my behavior.
On top of that, television is one of the most influential media in our mind and behavior. The character of the television is repetition. People watched the same news over and over through the TV, which affects our minds to believe it. Also, we believe that broadcasting companies have a proofing process, and trust the contents from them. So the impact of TV content is more influential to our behaviors. For instance, when I wake up, I turn on the TV first and watch the news as my morning routine. While I commute to work, I watch the news again on the subway. Besides, I watch TV while eating dinner. As I watch the TV news several times, I could memorize whole contents, and naturally, I believe that what I remember is the truth. These kinds of beliefs are collecting in my head and they affect my behaviors.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that movies and television are influencing our behavior a lot. All things considered, it is my belief that my argument regarding this topic has been effectively and precisely delivered with the reasons mentioned above. |
