I would give my friend two recommendations on how to be punctual.
First, I suggest my friend to set up an alarm 1 hours before an appointment. To be specific, recognizing what events will be planned through the alarm prevents my friend from being late. With the alarm, my friend will be able to be conscious about his schedule.
Second, using a sticky note is also a good idea. For example, when I make an appointment, I usually write basic information like time and place on a sticky note and put it on a visible place. Because of the sticky notes, I never forget the appointment and can follow my plan smoothly.
For these reasons, I think that after receiving my suggestions, my friend will be likely to be punctual.
2. Some students like to take courses online. Others prefer to take courses on campus. Which do you prefer and why? Include details and examples to support your explanation.
I prefer to take courses on campus.
First, I can engage in the learning process more actively. For example, when I become curious about difficult concepts, I can ask some questions to a professor and receive feedback immediately in class. Interacting with the professor without delay improves the efficiency of the learning.
Second, my classmates stimulate me to think differently. For example, when we have a chance to discuss something in class, I can meet various opinions from my classmates on the same topic. Acquiring diverse perspectives allows me to approach the topic in a fresh way, which leads to the increased interest about the subject.
For these reasons, I like being in class when I learn something.
