In the current world, traffic is one of the most complicated issues that is faced to the major cities. Not only just serious traffic jam in rush hour, but also there are more controversial issues such as the safety of pedestrians and bicycle riders. Moreover, even green areas such as parks and public spaces are removed due to the enlargement of roads and highways in some cities. There are some ideas to make citizens satisfied to the traffic issues.
First of all, government can enlarge pedestrian and bike way instead of road. If pedestrians and bike riders feel not safe and convinient anymore, people would prefer to ride their own car. Besides, both drivers and citizens will not be satisfied at all. To encourage people to walk or ride bike, the city council and the government need to make better environment for the pedestrians and bike riders.
Secondly, public transportation infrastucture must be improved. The government should generate better public transportation services, more routes, and even discount for the services. For example, the Brisbane goverment in Australia offers express bus ways to the city center from suburbs. In this road, only public buses can access so that there is hardly traffic jams who using public transporation system in the city.
Another option can be taken to make satisfied citizens in traffic issues, the government could increases taxes that relates to personal cars such as oil prices, registration fees, and toll-gates. With the income from the increased traffic taxes, government can provide better public transportation systems and encourage people not to use their own cars but public services by campaignes. It would be alble to satisfy citizens and provide better transportation infrastructures.
To summarize(conclude), the traffic issues are not easy to be solved especially in the mega cities. However, it can be improved by enlargement of pedestrian and bike rider ways instead of roads, better public transportation systesm such as reduced fares, install express bus ways, and improved services, and investment regarding public transportation by increased traffic taxes. Even though, there are some difficulties to make these ideas come true in the real world, but as shown in some developed city, it can be considered as a great solution.
마지막 결론 부분에 however 부분분터 한문장을 두 문장으로 나누는게 낳을꺼 같네요.
그리고 마지막부분에 developed city는 결론에 갑자기 등장하네요. 아무런 근거도 없이..
