Some people claim that the media has a negative influence on contemporary society. They think that there is very little tolerance for new ideas because of its impact. 

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Nowadays, the rapid development of the media affects each individual in many different ways. However, I firmly believe that the influence of media can easily brainwash viewers to think in a same way. 

On the one hand, the media allows people to think outside of the box (이런 표현 매우 좋습니다.). Even a book only consists of a single view point rather than dealing with multiple views. Surprisingly, the media provides a way to consider one topic in a wider range of perspective quickly and effectively. According to a research in Chin (China 를 의도하신 건가요?) that was done over a decade, there was a significant difference between the thoughts of older generations and new generations. These younger citizens were able able to response on a controversial issue in various views which were conveyed in numerous media platforms. (거의 대부분의 문제가 되었을 때와 같이, 여기의 경우도 근거로써의 역할을 전혀 하지 못하고 있습니다. 굳이 연구를 고집하시겠다면, 이 부분의 경우는 저 media platform 의 어떠한 속성으로 인해 언급된 내용이 가능해졌는지를 적어주셔야 해요.)

Although it seem like the media has a positive impact on the individuals in the society, we still do no have an ability to distinguish what is right or wrong. Especially for younger children, they only perceive what is on the screen and cannot evaluate whether an action or a belief is morally correct. This consequence also occurs to adults as well when a certain beliefs and values are consistently viewed in the media. For example, a documentary aired in the UK showed an impact of media on people's views. After each participants were shown a political talk show, they were asked certain questions which were related to a political issue. In a short period of time, almost 90 percent of the respondent had the similar view as the show. (마찬가지로, 90%, talk show 이런 건 크게 중요하지 않아요. 저 similar view 가 어떻게 해서 드러나게 되었는지에 초점을 맞춰주셔야 합니다.)

While it is apparent that the media can foster creativity, sometimes it can also brainwash people without realising it. Hence we all need to be aware of the influence that the media has and use it appropriately.

seonhu님의 경우 영어 실력은 의심의 여지가 없이 훌륭하신데, 아직 글 작성에 대한 요령은 없고 단순히 뛰어난 영어에서의 기본기를 바탕으로만 글을 작성하시기 때문에 현재로써는 6.5점, 아주 잘 쳐줘야 7.0점이 한계치입니다. 그러나 반대로 생각했을 때, 요령만 익혀주실 경우 7.5~8.0 이상도 가볍게 넘길 수 있는 잠재력은 충분히 가지고 계시므로, 제가 적어드리는 사항은 꼭 참고해서 반영해주세요~

연구 결과의 경우 이번 글을 포함해서 이전에도 계속 드리는 말씀이므로 확인해주시고, 이번에는 글 전반적인 통일성에 관해서 언급을 드리겠습니다.

현재 서론과 나머지 세 문단 간 통일이 되고 있지 않는다는 점이 가장 큰 문제입니다. 본론에서 잘못된 통계 사용과 더불어 이 부분으로 인해 현재 CC 쪽 점수가 많이 내려간 상태이죠. 획일화 vs 그렇지 않다의 구도로 봤을 때, 서론에서 예고해주신 글의 흐름은 100% 획일화 쪽으로 되어있습니다. 그러나 본론과 결론의 경우는, 대비되는 두 사항에 대해 중립적인 입장을 취하고 있고요. 지금처럼 문단 간 통일이 되어있지 않으면 채점관들은 '이 수험생이 최종적으로 하고싶어하는 말은 뭐지?' 라는 생각을 가지게 되고, CC 쪽 감점을 하게 됩니다. 그러므로 항상 글을 쓸 때 '본론에 맞춰서' 서론/결론을 구성할 수 있도록 신경써주세요~수고하셨습니다 :)
