There is a controversial issue whether
students should attend classes or not. This is an intriguing question because
opinions regarding this topic can be different rallying on individual
perspectives. In my opinion, however, I support an idea that it is not
necessary for students to participate classes for the following reasons.
To begin with, the development of
technology has made it possible for students to listen their classes without
constantly attending classes. In many universities, internet class has been
utilized for many students, which means that there are no reasons for attending
obligatory classes. Also, many students are likely to prefer to participate
internet classes. For example, in my experience, when I was in university
years, there are many internet classes throughout all classes. Some classes
provided students with internet class or attending class. This enables students
to study at home without any hamper disturbance. From this benefit, I utilized
the internet classes, and could get higher GPA with scholarship. Therefore, it
is not helpful to attend classes obligatory.
Second, students can experience various
things without attending required classes. University students are also adults.
This means that they are able to effectively and precisely select their purpose
regarding future. Not only that, students are likely to think that sometimes classes
are less important than other things. To be specific, students who have various
experiences are more likely to have a good opportunities to get a job. In my
country, it is reported that many companies choose to hire and work with the
person who have various experience. This is because, creativity made by those
experience allows company to earn a lot of profit. Also, bad economy in my
county, hiring those people is an effective way to avoid this bad economy atmosphere.
From these reasons, it is not beneficial to attend classes necessarily.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that it is
not necessary for students to attend classes. It is my belief that my argument
concerning this topic should not be underestimated with the reasons mentioned
above. |
