Some people think a country benefits from a large proportion of young university students. Others think sending young people to universities only leads to graduate unemployment. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
It is true that many young people are having trouble finding their jobs even after graduating from universities. Nevertheless, universities are the institution where can grow highly intelligent people for our society. In this essay, I will address the arguments of both sides and give my opinions of the positive side of growing more university students.
On the one hand, many people seem to find that they do not utilize the knowledge and skills they learned from universities. Even some people choose to study at universities just because majority of other students go to universities. It is doubtful whether this phenomenon is positive to individuals and entire society, since it seems like it is a waste of capital and efforts. In this regards,
A large share of young people spending from 3 to 4 years at universities are a waste.
On the other hand, many people who graduated from universities greatly contribute to societies with their expertise. By investing 4 years in college, they can become experts in one field, which is considered to be more valuable in this highly sophisticated world. For example, societies heavily depend on skills workers since many industries have advanced.
To sum up, although it is understandable idea that young people should exert their abilities without wasting time in universities, I firmly believe that young people must invest more time in universities to become experts who can lead our world.
