There are mixed feelings regarding the effectiveness of the Internet in education. Some people believe that learning through the Internet is better than old modes, whereas others claim that this is not effective for students. I am of the opinion that education with the Internet is more helpful. My belief is based on the following arguments.
On the one hand, some people advocate that Internet could be very useful for students' education. One reason for this belief is that there would be no need to comb through books when students have to find information and data. As there tends to be restrictive on collecting sources by books, students are likely to prefer the Internet to other methods. Furthermore, study with the Internet could be not limited by learning space and even allow students to join at the on-line courses.
On the other hand, others claim that using the Internet for learning is not helpful. The reason is that the informations and data from the Internet would be not correct because there are many materials without a process of verifying with experts or professionals. Moreover, students could be exposed to these inauthentic and harmful sources. Consequently, it could make them lessen their desire for study.
Personally, my perception is that Internet is beneficial for students in education. The reason for my belief is that students do not have to put their time and effort into finding lots of books and going to libraries. On top of this, the Internet helps students to take a rest without wasting time between each studies. Therefore, if students adjust to the way of studying with the Internet well, they can not only save their time efficiently but also relieve stress conveniently.
In conclusion, I strongly support the position that students can study effcetively by using the Internet. This is because there are more positive aspects of the Internet than negative ones.
