▶ Your Answer : Nowadays, it is getting more essential for the young to be taught the difference between right and wrong. Some insist that physical discipline plays a pivotal role in instructing children. In this essay, I strongly support this idea and would like to mention the sorts of discipline teachers and parents can do to teach young children the distinction
Physical discipline helps to prevent young-aged people from repeating bad behaviors. From infancy to primary school students and juvenile, they are likely and easy to commit wrong actions over and over again due to the fact they are not mature yet. If they are in punishment, they will be more likely to behave carefully to avoid the punishment. In addition, this discipline gives self-correction time to figute out what the problem was to someone who has already made a mistake. This is quite a beneficial method for them by reminding the situation they have got punished.
To parents, grounding children is one of the best ways as a punishment when they are wrong. This punishment affects a lot to them because hanging out with friends is a big part of youth daily life. According to BBC survey in 2009, when the young were ordered to stay at home in more than a week as a result of misbehavior, it was clear that they tended not to make the same mistakes again. Also, teachers can give a penalty to young students by handing out a lot of homework. As it is undeniable that these days younger students want to more time to play online games, which means homeworks are the tasks that they really mind, this creative punishment is not only effective, but also beneficial because this leads students to be focused more on studying in class.
In conclusion, I do strongly agree with the idea that punishment is vital to teach children the difference of virtu and vice and parents and teachers must do their parts to let them know through proper discipline. |
