Numerous animal species are indeed threatened by human these days, which can lead to extinction. Human’s selfish action, such as destroying animal habitats makes the situation worse. While it is a severe global problem, it can be alleviated to some extent by government enacting a law that protects animals, along with the great amount of fine who breaks the law.
The main cause for animal extinction is closely related to the loss of their habitat. These day many animals are endangered because they have nowhere to live. For over decades, human used the natural environment for their need. Governments and corporates consistently transformed the plain, forest, and beach for their business, such as building a residential area or tourist place. In the process of construction, it can harm and even kill the animal. The number of extinction and endangered animal caused by human consistently increase.
However, there are some solutions which can lessen this serious problem. One of the ways to protect the animals is that a government should enact the strong law. First of all, there should be a law that prohibits developing natural environment by human’s need, especially for tourism. Along with this, the law banning items which are harmful to the animal, such as plastic, should be implemented. Actually, some countries realized the seriousness of extinction and carried out the law in recent years. Moreover, instead of exploiting the environment, building more natural reserves can help the animal stay safely.
To sum up, it is clear that animal extinction became one of the major issues that have to be solved globally. Human’s irresponsible action such as exploiting their habitat accelerates the speed of animal extinction. While it is serious situation, it can be resolved by the government implementing the law that prohibits commercial development in natural environments. In addition, there should be more natural reserves for animal protection. |
