▶ Your Answer :
A childcare centre has been built to
support for those people who are unable to take care of their children due to
insufficient time. While a childcare centre provides a structured curriculum to
teach children, grandparents can teach children with all their hearts.
Therefore, the collaboration of both ways would be the optimum.
When parents are sending their children to
a childcare could have a several reason. It could be due to either the
insufficient times or not available carers. Whatever the reason might be, it
cannot deny that the childcare centre can provide the structured programmes in
a timely manner for children. From there, children can be able to learn about
the time schedules and socialisation with others. Therefore, children can learn
a various knowledge such as academical knowledge, socialisation and time
schedules from the childcare centre which is formed the timely academic
curriculums.
In contrast, it cannot deny that not all
children are adapting to the childcare centre's environment. Some children may
have a difficulty to be with strangers and can feel uncomfortable being away
from their parents. Especially the younger the child is, the higher dependency
on their parents. There is a dilemma between the insufficient time and finances
for parents to take care of children, and the children for psychological
impacts. Therefore, the grandparents seem to be the optimistic way to solve
such dilemma. Since grandparents are the next kin to the parents, children can
feel relaxed and it would be great to develop the grandparents and children
relationship.
In conclusion, the childcare centre
provides the opportunities for children to learn about various skills but there
would have some psychological issue for children. Due to this potential risk of
children's mentality default, the grandparents can substitute the role of
parents. The most effective way would be sending children to childcare centres
to learn socialisation skills under the grandparents' supervision. |
