Your Answer ▼ The bar graph illustrates the gross minutes of phone calls in the UK, throughout 1995 to 2002, which were divided into three different types : Local, National and international and Mobiles. All in all, it seems that local calls were the most used in the whole years, followed by national and international calls. On the other hand, the lowest figures were shown in Mobile calls. Looking at the graph closely, it is clear that figure of local calls was the highest among three given types in the starting year at 72 billion minutes. The number of calls within local increased gradually and reached the peak at 90 billion minutes, before plunged of 5 billion minutes to 80, then declined stipply, ended up at 71 billion minutes. The figure of calls of national and international and mobiles were relatively low in the first given period, compared with local calls, of 38 and 2 billion minutes respectively. Whilst the usage of national and international calls have shown an upward trend, there were marginal inclines in the figures of mobile calls from 1995 to 1999. The number of people who use the mobile calls soared significantly and the figure of it finally reached 47 billion minutes when minutes of national and international calls culminating at just over 60 billion minutes.
