The pie charts illustrate the purpose people in the UK had for visiting art museums in 1990 and 2000.
What stands out form the charts is that the majority of the purpose for visiting in both two years is to learn and gain knowledge. Another interesting point is the rapid decrease in the portion of filling their travel schedules.
Looking at the largest part of the charts, learning and gaining knowledge was always accounted for almost half. It's numbers were more or less stable from 1990 to 2000 at around 45%, but consistently make up the majority of purpose for visiting art museum.
Focusing on the purpose of filling their travel schedules, it showed a remarkable change over 10 years. The share of the second-largest purpose for visiting museums in 1990 plummeted from 27% to 12%, which is less than half of the proportion before. On the other hand, the reasons for attending a special exhibit and spending time with others showed a similar share in 1990 and also 2000. They accounted for 12% and approximately 18% in 1990 and 2000 relatively.
전 왜 2보다 1이 까다롭게 느껴질까요ㅠㅇㅠ
