This chart provides the information in terms of usage of UK telephone calls in Britain between 1995 and 2002.
There are three types of calls (local-fixed line, national and international-fixed line, and mobiles-all calls). During 7-years (7-year 혹은 7 years) period, the usage of national and international-fixed line and mobiles increased, while that of local-fixed line fluctuated. Nevertheless, it is clear that local-fixed line is was the highest the most popular type of phone call among them.
Looking at the information in more detail, we can see that mobiles were used by far the least at around 3 billion minutes in 1995;. Hhowever, it increased dramatically at about 46 billion minutes in 2002. Similarly, the figure for international and fixed line also increased from 38 billion minutes in 1995 to nearly 60 billion minutes in 2002.
However, the usage of local-fixed line did not increase steadily. The lowest figure of local-fixed line is was almost 70 billion minutes and the highest of that is was 90 billion minutes, (<-no comma) as we can see. The popularity of tThis call type increased for 4 years and then decreased again for 3 years. Although it didn’t did not keep going up unlike the other call types, local-fixed line shows a dominant position.
