▶ Your Answer :
The line chart compares the amount of average emissions of carbon dioxide each person in four different countries, namely the UK, Sweden, Italy and Portugal from 1947 to 2007.
Overall, over the period given, the UK people emitted the highest number of CO2, while the lowest CO2 emission was shown by Portugueses. In addition, in the two countries, Italy and Portugal, there were rising trends, whereas the downward were seen in the remained places.
As is shown by the graph between 1967 to 1977, the figure for CO2 emission in the UK remained stable at around 11 metric tonnes(MT), while those of others' increased at the same trends. To be specific, the amount of CO2 discharge of Swedishes reached a peak at around 10.2MT in 1977. There were increases by 2 and 1MT from 4.2 and 1.2 MT in Italy and Portugal respectively.
In terms of the years of from 1977 to 2007, an Italian and a Portuguese had generated increasingly CO2 each to under 8 and to about 5.4 MT. However, in Sweden, the figures for CO2 emissions declined dramatically, even under the amount of Italian from 1987. The highest CO2 production was seen by the UK, even though it decreased to approximately 8.8 MT. |
