▶ Your Answer :
In modern society, Internet has been believed as a
major source to get abundant information by many people. Some people insist
that the information get from Internet is not accurate. Personally, I also think that all
this information is hard to believe since anyone can access to the
Internet and there is no monitor who checks the accuracy.
First of all, it is true that we can directly earn
various sources of information what we want through the Internet. Likewise
anybody can access to the Internet and upload their own information sources without monitoring system.
This can be potential drawback giving a lot of false information to the
people. For instance, when we get sick we are
usually using Internet to search for the
symptoms and the information about the diseases related to one’s sickness. However, they would find information written
from someone who does not have professional knowledge about that disease. Thus,
they could treat their sickness as a wrong way which makes their condition more
worse. As a result, as anyone who is not professional can upload wrong
information it can make harmful situation
for someone’s health.
In addition, because there is no one who monitors this inaccuracy, we cannot
certain about any information from the Internet. To
be specific, the Internet is too broad to can check every information.
For example, there are tons of website in the Internet and in the website there
are also countless categories which contain numerous information sources. Therefore, it cannot have someone who
organizes all of these sites, and it is unavoidable (inevitable) to face with a lot
of false information.
To sum up, after the advance of the Internet, we
can get useful information through the Internet. However, despite these
beneficial impacts on our convenient life, I think that there are much more inaccurate
information due to the lack of monitor and accesses
of many people who upload unprofessional
knowledge.
