It is true that a lot of historical places are damaged by tourists and make them even harder to preserve. While it is a serious problem, it can be solved by getting educations before going traveling. The main cause of the historical places damage is that people get excited when traveling, so they forget the historical importance. Tourists want to leave their records about the evidence that they came to this historical place. For instance, there is a bridge in one Europe country, one couple locked their locker on the bridge for their long love. From this event many couples go there and lock lockers, thus the bridge was going to erupt in no time. One little, beautiful bridge could been destroyed by tourists who damaged it. However, there are solutions to this problem. One of the ways to stop harming to historical places are informing tourists or giving education in duty. When getting educated people realize the significance, by this tourists damage will be prevented. Take the example of korean students’ school trip. Recent studies have shown that educated students about the historical importance did not damage it however uneducated students harmed it. From this it is clear that if government financials make education into duty before going on a trip, the damage to historical places will decrease. To sum up, it is clear that travelers little action makes a huge damage to historical places. Nevertheless, the issue can be resolved by educating people in duty. |
