In the time of medieval era some people, like slaves, servants, couldn’t have the right of freedom from the birth. They couldn’t make any decision. Unlike the past, we were born with the natural law and live on the foundation of freedom. All human being in the world should be permitted to do anything they want by the law. Nobody can be excluded out of this idea. But I think that it is a somehow different issue in the case of children. It is a reality that we have a right to do anything we want and also have a responsibility for what we are doing. But the children are different with the adults. Children don’t have a concept about whether what is right or wrong, good and bad. So we need to make rules for children. If we don’t take actions of this problem, many Children may commit juvenile delinquency and would be criminals in the future. Though the rules make children not to do crimes, even if the degree of rules is heavy, some problems should be occurred for children - the lack of confidence, psychological troubles, the limitation on creative idea, etc. Children who have problems may be afraid of doing anything, What’s more, They would isolate themselves from all society. In a nutshell, I believe that the strict rules of behaviour are necessary for children and society. But we have to explain to children that why they should not do it and what is right and wrong. It can be possible through the education and rules. |
