These days the pace of life is getting faster and faster, thus, people got choose something as simple and convenient as possible than before in order to keep pace with the change of society. This preference of people can be applied our levels of health and fitness through the diet we chosen. Actually, preparing a healthy meal requires a lot of time as well as fresh ingredients. Thus, busy people in modern hectic world are likely to choose fast foods. Pre-packed foods, however, can contain a number of unhealthy additives and so they are not as nutritious as fresh food. There is a tendency to have stimulating foods including a large amount of salt, sugar and fat which counteract our tension and stress. As a result, even though we live in the flood of foods and gain weight, our levels of health and fitness are decreasing.
To solve these problems regarding obesity and healthy imbalance, we should change our chronic habits to have fast foods or retort pouch foods as a main meal. We need to make sure to include a variety of foods from all basic food groups, which is requirement to maintain a correct weight and gives vitamins or minerals that is a significant factor in a healthy diet. That is why to eat fruits and vegetables at least every second day and check ingredients on food labels.
Moreover, we should try eat moderate portions and do not be tempted to order a large size when eating out. Overeating is the enemy of keeping a correct weight. It needs to be note that skipping meals can be a cause of overeating, eventually leading to the destruction of balanced life.
In conclusion, it is undeniable that the problem about keeping fit is rising despite of the abundance in various type of foods. To resolve the problems, by checking the ingredients of foods and having regular meals, we change gradually our eating habits.
