The given table chart unfolds the information
about the rate of people in five western countries above 18 years old who
attended Performing arts, Cinema, Museums & Galleries and Sports by purchasing
admission tickets in 2012.
On the whole, the majority of continental US
people love to go to the movie theatre, European tend to enjoy all entertainment
events quite evenly compared to the trend of the USA and Canada.
With regards to the USA and Canada, more
than 50% of people watched the films to entertain themselves, it is followed
by Performing Arts nearly 4 out of 10 population enjoyed it. The rate of
Sports stood at 27.3% and 23.8% respectively, less than one-fifth citizens went
to Museums and Galleries. The same trend is not mirrored in Europe. When
40% of people paid to Cinema, its rate is closely trailed by that of Performing
Arts with an exception-Germany as it stood at 34.7% in the ratio, lower than the
overall figures of Museums/Galleries. Sports was the least popular event
since less than 30% of people bought the tickets in France and Germany despite
the UK attracted 31.1% of the population. |
