In this day and age, people are traveling larger distances to work and study daily. Some people consider this to be a negative development, whereas others would disagree. In this essay, I will discuss both views and provide my own opinion.
On the one hand, there are those who advocate that travelling longer distances to work and study daily might be a negative development. They say this because people who are traveling larger distances tend to get worn out easily. On top of that, dwellers in the suburb might spend much more money and times for transportations such as buses, trains or cabs in order to commute. If, for example, you (2인칭은 기본적으로 구어의 요소를 갖추고 있고, 지금은 연설문의 대본을 쓰는 게 아니니까 여기 포함 글 내에서 2인칭은 사용하지 않는다고 보시면 됩니다.) spend more than an hour to go workplace or to return home, you would consume numerous amounts of energy in public transportations. Therefore, it can be considered that traveling larger distances to work and study on a daily basis may cause serious issues like wasting time, money and energy you have.
On the other hand, others claim that commuting larger distances could have positive effects on government or commuters. This is mainly because governments might endeavor to develop their transportation systems and as a result governments would make a lot of profits by providing new systems such as extension routes, the newest buses and trains with air-condition and heating systems, which can promote the use of (이 문장을 통해 의도하신 바를 100% 정확하게 파악하지는 못해서 이렇게 고치는 게 답이 아닐 수도 있긴 한데, 만약에 다른 의미를 의도하셨고, 그래서 수정사항이 아니다 싶으면 그냥 컷해주셔도 무방합니다.) to use public transports for long distance commuters. If, for instance, governments changed from old public transportations to new ones, people should have travelled much more comfortably and safely. (여기는 의도하신 바에 대해 댓글 한번 주시면 확인하고 수정해드리겠습니다. should have 는 =했어야 한다 쪽으로 해석되는데, 아마 그걸 의도하신 건 아닐 것 같아요.) What is more, residents who pay taxes to the government should be rewarded like pavement of roads in their areas or discount of tickets during rush hour. Thus, it is reasonable to state that traveling larger distances would also have be not only negative effects but also positive aspects in an array of ways.
In conclusion, on balance, it seems that there are both benefits and drawbacks of this issue. However, in my opinion, I would say that traveling shorter distances to work and study on a daily basis might make would help commuters live a better life physically and mentally.
