▶ Your Answer :
It is evident that the consumption is influenced by how advertised to the public, affecting increasing the number of sales. Consequently, consumers often purchase some goods regardless of their needs. I completely agree with this trend, meaning that high sales indicate the effects of advertisement but the needs of society is followed by an advert.
To begin with, there are several reasons of the significance of advertising. On an individual level, peopel have been interested in accustomed products during shopping. Hence, the more particular goods show on media such as TV, radio, newspaper, and ever internet, the more consumers get to know the name of products and have interests to them. Furthermore, from an economic perspective, big companies are able to earn a lot of money rather than the amount of spending money for making an advertisement. Even though the majority of adverts employ famous celebrities paying much money, the public who watched the ads trusts that kinds of adverts more due to celebrities' images.
As regards to societal needs related to advertisements, there are some facts, I agree. Firstly, some goods will be well-wrapped by attractive advertisements, even if they are so normal or even worse. As a result, the people who are deciding what to buy choose the advertising one. I means that they do not search details including durability, money efficiency, flexibility, and mobility when it comes to choosing products. Moreover, companies provide excessive ads to the media and hey say that their products are must-have items to everyone. Thus, people are attracted by them as well as just purchase their goods following trends and other people.
To recapitulate, I am of the belief that an advert has mass impacts on people's consumption, while sometimes people are likely to buy a product without their own willing, only with following contemporary trends. |
