It is often argued that these days, whilst the state of the art of
communication technology and connections between people are the most effective
and convenient for people all over the world. However, I have a little bit of different
opinions. In this essay, I would argue that the connections between people are
no substitute for face-to-face communication and human relationship.
Compared to the past, I am pretty sure that it is much easier,
cheaper and more convenient to interact with others in the digital communication
environment. Furthermore, it is really beneficial for lots of international
companies to have a business with each other. For instance, there are many ways
we can use such as email correspondence, phone call, sending a message via a
sort of applications which are connected to the WI-FI network. Also, we can
just take the phone out of the pocket and contact people all over the world.
Just simply push of a button.
Turing to the main point, I think advanced communication
technology does not equal a better connection because it can never replace
face to face communication. The meaningful and close relationship among people
only could be developed with a body language, facial experience. It entirely
relies on true communication and true communication this is possible when people
talk face to face. Even for me, I usually prefer to get in touch with some of
my close friends but, I tend to communicate with business partners by using
digital communication.
In conclusion, I personally believe that whilst advanced technology not
only has a positive impact on the communication system but also efficiently
interacts with people with each other. The connections among the people are
entirely different compared to the way in which people have communication
because I believe it modern methods (of communication) cannot deliver the specific opinions deriving from human
relationships and facial expressions. Thus I never thought it can cannot be replaced with face to face communication.
