Your Answer ▼ The bar graph shows the information about how much time was spent per month on four different electronic devices by Americans over the 35-year period. Overall, it is evident that the amount of time spent on radio was the highest at the beginning, but steadily decreased, whereas the figure of computer significantly increased throughout the period, to become the most popular device. Looking at the graph more closely, it is apparent that the total number of hours used on radio was initially over 300 hours per month, but it plummeted after 1990 to become the lowest eventually. In contrast, the computer usage, which was only about 25 hours (시작에는~등의 표현이 필요합니다.), surged by more than 200 hours monthly until the end of the period. The same pattern was also seen in smartphone. The figure of smartphone was nearly 0 during the first 15 years, but it increased considerably after 2000, surpassing radio in 2005, and become the second most used device in 2000. Meanwhile, the TV usage also gradually increased, before stagnating at 200 hours in 2015. |
