Your Answer ▼ The plastic and our lives are closely connected. I am able to can see at least more than one plastic product in a day. The plastic which is you are using every day causes serious damage to our environment.
The plastic is a non-biodegradable product because it does not decompose over time so the more using it means the more piling of it. It causes not only soil contamination, but also air pollution and harm to marine life. What can we do to preserve our environment?
Firstly, the governments help have to solve this problem by giving restriction of using plastic to industries with by imposing plastic tax. In deed real, this policy is practicing practiced in Canada and Korea. It is charged charges the plastic tax for the cup when a customer buy a cup of coffee at a cafe. In addition the governments encourage businesses to use compostable degradable products for packaging instead of using disposable plastic one.
Secondly, the individuals also can do for our environment to try by trying to practice 3Rs-Reducing, Reusing, Recycling. I recommend you to go to Zero waste shop for purchasing some detergents such as shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, clothes detergent, etc. with your own containers. Some people called it as "Refill shop". You can reduce unnecessary plastic container. Also, you can use a reusable bag and paper instead of using plastic and bring your personal cup than disposable one. By reducing unnecessary use of plastic with little effort, you can protect our natural environment.
In my opinion, the problem of using plastic couldn't be solved if the governments and individuals, both are not working together. We can make better world when we work hard together. |
