Nowadays, people in most regions need more and more non-renewable
energy such as oil and gas and they insist that untouched natural areas should
be developed. However, I personally think that this phenomenon should be denied.
In this essay, I will present my opinion with reasons.
To begin with, even though
the number of demand on non-renewable energy sources is getting higher, remote
and untouched sites should be protected for the environment. To be more specific, if
these places suffer from development, it will be exhausted in the next generation as
well as the environment would be demolished in the future. To protect it,
people around the globe should try to conserve Earth by conducting a campaign. Also,
all individuals are able to reduce the amount of usage of oil and gas energy. For
instance, in effect, most people in these day are trying to use public transportation
instead of using their own vehicles. This shows that people recognize the importance
of protecting untouched areas.
Moreover, people
should develop renewable energy such as solar, water, and wind energy to meet a
demand of other non-renewable energy. All of the countries are looking into ways
to utilize these kinds of energies instead of developing remote nature. One of
the most obvious examples of this idea is that in North America, there are more
and more renewable power plats although they have a great deal of plain. This
illustrates that looking for sources in untouched places has negative effects.
In conclusion, in
terms of looking for oil and gas sources in remote and untouched areas, the drawbacks
overwhelm benefits. Thereby, people have to protect these places by diminishing
the usage of non-renewable energy as well as developing renewable energy
instead. |
