Nowadays, some people
assert that youthful people are not eligible for significant positions, whereas
others insist that youngsters who are responsible for important duties in the government
have optimistic influences on the nation. My opinion is belonged to the former.
To begin with, as
people at still growing ages would be immature mentally, the government do not
offer them to meaningful positions. It means that they are still mentally grown
up and in the aspect, they would have more chances to make a decision in a wrong
way. For instance, the Korean government provides university students with
positions which had to decide meaningful decisions for the nation. The government
believed that by offering them to opportunities to work and it helped the
country improve economy level. However, the expectation was completely wrong
and as a result, the public criticized not only government’s decision but also
low-quality work efficiency of the young people.
Nevertheless, there
are other people who argue that youthful people who take on important positions
in the government have positive effects on the country. To be more specific,
youngsters are more open-minded than the elderly and it would make the nation
to be invigorated as they then to have unique ideas, which old people could not
come up with. One of the most obvious examples is that in case of Europe, in
effect, the majority of significant positions in the government are positioned by
young European people who are thinking in a creative way as well as it resulted
in positive implications on both the public and the country.
In conclusion, it is
true that there is an argument when it comes to whether young people are
suitable for the important positions in the government or not. In my opinion,
since this phenomenon has more negative impacts than optimistic ones the government
should not employ young people for significant positions. |
