Your Answer ▼ These days, various majors are taught to students which can be classified theoretical and practical subjects. While some people insist that theoretical subjects does not need to be taught, I firmly believe it is necessary for students. In this essay, my personal opinions will be treated.
First of all, theoretical knowledge is basic of practical subjects. There is huge difference between whether students know theory about what they would learn and work or they does not know. Although undergraduates can learn and master practical things without theoretical learning, they will absolutely need to know theory about what they are doing for themselves' curiosity, teaching others, being experts, and so on. Due to the fact that knowing only practical knowledge have an limits, students have to learn theories as a basic for gradually reaching their purposes.
Moreover, students have to aware why they need to know theoretical knowledge by learning in university, even though they will work in different fields of major. Because, as aforementioned in first paragraph, people need basic theories for progress and it does not limited in their majors, awareness of importance of theory is truly significant for their future life. Thus, universities have to teach theoretical subjects for awaken students what is really important in learning.
In conclusion, I absolutely believe that theoretical learning should be kept in universities for the reasons of students' stable developments, and awakening importance of basic theories. |
