There are many issues in relation to paid vacation. It depends on the country's situation since the economic circumstances differ from country to country. nonetheless, it would be easy to assume that to have two weeks of paid vacation would be more beneficial for employers temporarily. However, there are many reports suggesting 4 weeks of paid vacation and ti is more beneficial in the long term.
From an employers point of view, 2 weeks of paid vacation seems enough considering the budget. Especially when the economic has downturn, the company would like to cut the corners as much as possible. And it could lead employers an offer of 2 weeks of paid vacation instead of 4 weeks.
However, several cases demonstrate that 4 weeks of paid vacation have more benefits. It includes employee satisfactio, more economic circulation, better outcome from satisfied employees.
Firstly, the employee satisfaction would be higher when employees get 4 weeks of paid vacation rather than 2 weeks of paid vacation. In terms of quality of life, it could bring more pleasure to employees and they are more motivated to work. As a result, mjotivated employees tend to bring out more possitive outcomes.
Secondly, there are economic benefits from employees when they go on a holiday. They are subject to spend more money when they have longer paid vacation. It leads to economic circles becoming more activated. In the long term, it has positive effect on both employees and employers.
Everything has its pros and cons. However, for these reasons, I strongly support the 4 weeks of paid vacation rather than 2 weeks of paid vacation.
Thank you.
