It is common to see younger students who are addicted to indoor activities such as playing video and computer games and watching television in modern society. It is fetal for teenagers to be addicted to games and televisions because those materials would bring/ they(여기서는 teenagers 를 받는 거겠죠? ^^) would confront they lead to enormous problems such as the a lack of socialization, health problem and violence caused by those activities indulging that. Thus this essay will outline latent hazards and suggest solutions of this phenomenon.
One on hand, this problem creates a the lack of socialization. Teenagers who indulge games and television programs without any social activities spend less time to interact and communicate with others and the time is getting lesser/ shorter have decreased time more and more, which interactive and communicate each other. Also, the teenagers are likely to confuse because of a barrier between real and cyber space. Especially teenagers who like violent games are easily exposed to a risk. In fact, there are too many articles about younger prisoners who were arrested for mimicking violent games and movies. Also, it caused not only social problems but also heath problems. According to statistics conducted by National Educational Office, it revealed that the obesity of the teenagers who spent more time on indoor activities is much more severe than ordinary students.
One the other hand there are also solutions to concur the problem. First, parents should spend many times on outdoor activates with their children. To prevent the isolation of children, parents need to do. Secondly schools need to make subjects and programs which directly make all students get involved experience together such as community activities and sports games. They can encourage outdoor activities and raise socialization for teenagers. Lastly, the government establishes public sports facilities to enjoy exercise and stay healthy.
In conclusion, being addicted to addicting video games and televisions would cause not only leads to not only social isolation and even violence but also health problems. Therefore we should make surroundings to promote outdoor activities and establish public facilities and programs to raise socialization and stay healthy. |
