When it comes to education issues for school children,

literature has a few advantages such as making uniformity of society and
improving local culture. Still, school should teach children both of local
literature and world literature since well-balanced education is more important

In terms of local literature, there are upsides of
learning own country’s literature. Most of all, one society can foster
community spirit of young students via educating local writers’ books. Students
can have self-confidence and feel strong relationship with their community.
Furthermore, society can easily keep and improve local cultural assets and
heritage from teaching one nation’s historical literatures. These are why
advocators insist that children need to learn own country’s literature.
In aspects of other countries’ literature, foreign
literatures also have good points for children’s education. Through studying
masterpieces of the world, students can make their view to be wide. Since
majority of world’s people have been facing globalization, young students
should develop the common sense as an international citizen. Worldwide
literatures including famous nobles, historical poetries and admirable people’s
assays can raise this sense for children at school. Moreover, various types of
literature can make children to be innovative people in society. Schools need
to maintain the balance of their literature educations.
Not only should school teach own country’s identical
literature for children, but school also need to encourage children to learn
other countries’ significant literature. Adults should keep in mind that
variety can make our children’s future to be flourished.
