There are two statistics which shows information concerning poverty in the United
States during 2008. To begin with, the most striking feature which we can see
from the pie chart is that single women who are living with children not to
depend on their parent with no dependent children suffered
from more severe poverty much more
than other three groups in 2008. Moreover, the more interesting outcome is that
in the bar graph, all women groups indicated the highest higher percentage of poverty compared with men
throughout the whole research period.
Turning to the detail, as for the pie chart, the number of single women who have children not to
depend on their parent (첫 문단에도 이렇게 적으셨는데, 굳이 이렇게 어렵게 적지 마시고 single women with
no dependent children, 이런 식으로 적어주세요) that are suffering from poverty exceeded much more than
the other three household groups (54%), followed
by single women who have children still depending on their parent (26%). Other
two married women The married women, both the women
with dependent children and those without, relatively exhibited lower
figures than single women (12% and 8% respectively).
When it comes to the bar graph comparing different age
groups according to the genders, the most remarkable feature is that females
aged under 24 were mostly experiencing extreme
poor lives compared with the other age groups, which similarly coincides with the males in the same age groups (from almost
15% to 20% respectively in 2008). However, the more ageing higher the age, the more percentage of men and women
who are suffering from poverty decreased significantly during 2008, with the
figures reaching from approximately 5% to 13%.
