A great number of sports competitions has been favored by people all over the world since the dawn of time. Some assert that sportsmen should have strong physical strength more than other factors. However, others are of the opinion that mental strength likely leads people to attain better results. In this essay, I will identify both viewpoints and offer my perspective on this matter.
On the one hand, there are a variety of valid reasons why strong physical health is instrumental to obtain more awards and prize in sports. First and foremost, when it comes to sport games, better physical condition will hugely support athletes not to be easily injured in comparison to others who do not have huge muscle mass. In addition, this would provoke them to physically perform better and achieve opportunities to play widely in their positions. For example, individuals who do not take training session are not able to keep running for a long mile or lift heavy weights.
On the other hand, there are some worthwhile factors explaining the importance of mental strength. Initially, strong mental health is essential to consistently work for longer period since physical movement is provoked from the commend of brain. Therefore those people who are in sport related industry should be mentally stable and courageous. Moreover, if they are capable of mentally controlling themselves, it allows them to build a better co-working environment, because the majority of sport games requires firm cooperation and they should closely work together.
To sum up, even though there are several benefits of physical strength. I personally believe that determined mental strength encourages athletes work better in a long term. They thus should have a balance.
