pie charts illustrate the percentage of people using online music services in the
US from five different age groups in 2013, 2015, and 2017.
Overall, it is apparent that the percentage of
online music services users by age group changed largely during the period.
Looking at the graph more closely, one can see
that people from 40 to 49 years old accounted for the largest portion in 2013,
which was 34%, however, the percentages decreased in 2015 and 2017, which were 26
percent and 14 percent, respectively. In 2015, users of online music services
who are between 30 and 39 years old showed the highest percentage, which was 33
percent, while it decreased into 24 percent in 2017. The proportion of the users
from the 20-29 age group constantly increased from 2013, reaching 34 percent in
2017, which was the highest among the age groups. People who came from the
10-19 age group accounted for only about 5 percent in 2013 and 2015, but surged
in 2017, reaching 24 percent. The percentage of people who are 50 years old or
over decreased from 2013 to 2017, which became less than 5 percent in 2017. |
