Nowadays,
it is argued by some people that people should be helped by charities if needed
no matter where they are. However Personally, I agree with the people who believe that the
organisations ought to focus on helping based on where they live. (참고로 이 두 문장 내에서 people이 최대 한 번만 쓰일 수 있게 바꾸는 게 가능합니다. 직접 한번 고쳐보시고 댓글로 검사받으세요!)
One of the
reasons why some people say charities should help people regardless of border border-lessly is that
there can be some people who ought to be helped as soon as possible. In other words,
charities should aim to deal with people who need their help the most, not
based on their region. Due to the gobalization, it is obvious that helping
other countries can effect themselves as well. To illustrate, there are less
extremely poor people in developed countries compared to developing countries. Therefore,
many of the charities based on developed countries help other countries so that
they can boost their economy. Once their economy is boosted, it is also helpful
for the countries which gave help since the helped countries can import more
products and services from them.
On the
other hand, helping local people can effect the society easily. It is obvious that
there must be some people in the same country who need help. The charities
should focus on helping them since it leads the country to become a better
place. For example, people would more likely to stay in their own country if there have
faith that they can be helped. It is definitely good because it can grow people’s
happiness and there are less chance to lose the population.
In conclusion,
although helping people who are in need even if they live somewhere else is
good because it can effect the country which gave help as well, I strongly
believe that the charities should aim to help local citizens since it is more
effective.
