We are living comfortable and secure lives thanks to developing science. According to that, humans can live longer than before. However, individuals' perceptions and society's policies about increasing of the average life expectancy can't chase the speed of science. There are some problems in our life that come from this situation. While science is growing, people and society couldn't prepare alternatives in time. First, communicating with seniors is not easy for the young generation. We can notice there are more seniors in public places and they are pretty healthy compared to the past. However, I see sometimes some conflicts between young people and seniors. Second, Our public places are not ready for seniors yet. For example, there are the number of subway stations that don't have escalators in Canada. Due to that, seniors are not easy to use the public transition. There are some problems because of the gap between rapid scientific development and reality. To decrease that gap, we should educate our citizens. All generations should learn how to respect each other and try to communicate with knowledge of the change. Our governments should also change public places and policies according to society's changes. Seniors have become more healthy thanks to medical development, so they would like to use more variety of public facilities. For that, governments make those places more comfortable and easy to use. Living by age 80 or even 90 is common due to medical growth. However, we can experience some difficulties coming from this change. Individuals try to understand this change and communicate with each other. Society should prepare the facilities and regulations for this change. | ||||
