It is true that attributable to a variety of factors, people these days are becoming overweight and maintaining less healthier lifestyles than before. However, these kinds of social phenomenons could be tackled by educating people.
The major reason of both the increased weight of people and the low level of fitness is due to a sendentary lifestyle that is caused by the current advanced technology nowadays. It is axiomatic that today's technology, especially communications technology, allows people to interact and connect with one another in any physical locations; thereby letting them to move less. When it comes to working, workers do not need to meet other organisations in person as they could convey their messages through emails. These kinds of behaviors prevent people from comsuming calories, which, as a result, contributing to various types of diseases, including obesity that could accompany accompanies type 2 diabetes and even cardiovascular diseases.
Nevertheless, this serious issue could be resolved by education. It is an undeniable fact that letting people know the importance of being healthy should be the top priority over any other things to avoid such problems. At schools, teachers have to offer a variety of materials that show the benefits of having a balanced diet that contains proper amount of carbohydrate, protein, and fat. Furthermore, the government ought to make an advertisement to make sure people know about the detrimental impact on the human body when they get diseases caused by the increased weight. On top of that, authorities need to promote people to do exercise regularly, which can ultimately help them to be healthy and fit.
