The given diagram illustrates the process of producing concentrated olive oil for selling.
Overall, there are twelve stages in the process of making olive oli, starting from harvesting fresh olives and ending with the
packaging three different types of olive oil.
To begin with, olives are harvested and then the best olives are selected by workers from olive garden. At the next stage,
the olives are delivered to collection vat which sends them to the washer tank. During the process, the olives are de-leafed
and washed. After this, they are passed to the olive mill where they are crushed. At the second phase of, olive paste is heated
to 27 degrees in a malaxer and the paste is supplied to the centrifugal press to extract pomance or pulp residue before delivering
it to another mill where olive pomance oil packed.
This step is followed by the decantation and separation process where fresh liquid oil is stored in a large oil storage tank.
Finally, extra virgin olive oil and virgin olive oil are produced by filtration, while refined olive oil is made through refining.
