The table illustrates data regarding the
use of trains among four different nations in 2007. Overall, China had the
largest number of people using rails and the longest distance of traveling per
person while even though Canada marked the lowest figure of using trains, the
number of cargo accounted for the biggest among countries.
Firstly, according to the chart, people who live in China used rail transportation the highest among countries and it was followed by Malaysia that is about equal to the UAE. The number of passengers using trains was 27, 5.9, and 5.5, respectively. Meanwhile, Canada was the least using rails by people, which figure was only 0.3.
It is also obvious that the Chinese traveled the longest distance by using trains in 2007 per person, which of average was 1980 kilometers. The number of people using rails in Malaysia was slightly more than those of the UAE, but the distance of people using trains in the UAE was a little bit more than in Malaysia. The figure was 780 kilometers, 770 kilometers, respectively. Although Canadians who used trains were the least among nations, the amounts of rails carrying cargo were the biggest overwhelmingly compared to other countries. The figure was 2820 billions of tons.
