The pie charts illustrate statistical information about the reasons English people had for visiting art museums in 1990 and 2000. It is obviously shown from the chart that most people in Great Britain went to art museums for learning and gaining knowledge. The figure was nearly half in both years which were followed by people going to art museums for filling their travel schedules in 1990 and attending a special exhibit in 2000.
Looking at the cart closely, it is also evident
that even the most people wanted to learn and gain knowledge from art museums,
it grew only 1% over a decade. Meanwhile, in the case of filling their travel
schedule, the figure dropped by 15% from 27% in 1990 to 12% in 2000,
respectively.
In contrast, other purposes for visiting
art museums went up, which were to attend a special exhibit and to spend time
with friends and family. It is also noteworthy that the figures of two sections
were nearly same in both years. They were both 12% in the year 1990, and 17% in
spending time with friends and family and 18% in attending a special exhibit.
