Thanks to many technologies, many parents insist that today's young people
have a better live than they did when they were younger. I agree with this
opinion and I will explain why I support it.
First of all, this generation can easily
get information. Information is the best weapon now and many people are
struggling to get it. Cite an example,
when parents prepare for college entrance, they had to obtain information by
phone or by visiting the college in person. Besides, the money and time
required to obtain colleges' information were huge, and because this
information was flexible, the accuracy was very low. On the other hand, today's
generation can easily obtain the information they need via electronic devices
called a smartphone. In addition, they can easily share information with others
to create a more advantageous situation for themselves. In other words, young
people can acquire information faster than their parents, which has made them better
off.
Lastly, today's young people are physically
much healthier than their parent's generation. When the parents' generation was
young, many young people suffered from malnutrition. However, in today's youth,
malnutrition does not happen unless it is a crime like abuse or excessive
weight control. According to national research, today's people are taller than
their parents. This is thanks to the nutritious food in this period. In other
words, this is a better time than when parents were young because nutritious
food allows them to live healthier lives.
I can not say that today's young people are
better in every way than their parents were when they were younger. But
objectively, I guess that young people are having a better life than their
parents. |
