Some think that quality art can be made by anyone while others think that it requires special talent and ability.

Whether art can be created by a person with inherited talent or not has been a controversial topic for a long time. Both sides have valid arguments, however, I firmly believe that anyone can create a great masterpiece.
On the one hand, many people insist that some artists are born with innated special skills. Numerous prodigies can be explained with this statement. These prodigies can perform a high level of skills at an early age. For instance, Mozart started to play the piano when he was four and composed his first song at five. Not everyone can play nor compose the song at this early age. Normally, people with special talent can be found at a very early age by teachers of parents, and dedicate considerable time on training. Given that, young age can absorb many techniques, which allows them to make more quality art pieces.
On the other hand, many people think that normal people can produce high-quality art once they practice. I personally think that if people continuously practice and put effort on something for a long time, effort never lies. A masterpiece can be produced by anyone, who has been trained themselves. For example, many well-reputed artists said that the key to success was continuous practice. Some well-known singers are still practising at least 3 hours a day. In fact, many artists insist that creativity can be easily generated through constant drill practice.
To sum up, many people are still debating about the topic of whether a masterpiece can be only made by gifted artists. Although many prodigies have made quality artworks, I firmly believe that once they practice and put an effort to achieve an artistic skill, everyone can be a great artist who makes a masterpiece.
