The bar graph below illustrates the proportion of regular physical activity which were done by Australian men and women in different age groups. In general, five age groups show that female Australian did more normal physical activity than male groups. Moreover, the biggest proportion gap between the female group and the male group was showed in 35 to 44.
There are six types of different age groups, and five groups of them illustrated that the proportion of Australian women who did regular physical activity was bigger than Australian men. On the other hand, the age group 15 to 24 was the only group that the percentage of Australian men who did physical exercise was larger than women groups. To be more specific, the proportion of Australian male in doing regular physical activity who were included in 15 to 24 was 52.8% and female was 47.7%.
The largest proportion gap between the female group and male group was 35 to 44 and the smallest gap was appeared in 65 and over. The percentage gap between male and female groups in 35 to 44 was 13%. In addition, the smallest proportion gap between male and female groups who did regular physical exercise was 0.4%.
