The charts give information about the
popularity of the course by admissions at UK universities in 2007, 2014
respectively. Overall, in 2007, the number of admissions for each course are
quite similar compared to 2014.
In 2007, the most popular course un UK university
was law, which was approximately 90,000. It was followed by psychology, at
80,000. The figures of pre-clinical medicine and design were the same (70,000).
The number of admissions for nursing was at almost 60,000 and computer science
was slightly lower than it, which was approximately 50,000.
The figures showed a totally different aspect
in 2014. The number of admissions for nursing was overwhelmingly high, which
was almost 250,000. With the exception of nursing, other figures only had
marginally difference. The figures of admissions for psychology and law were
slightly higher than 100,000. The interest of design was also dropped than that
of 2007, which was slightly lower than 100,000. The number of admissions for
pre-medical medicines was around 80,000. The most unpopular course in 2014 was
computer science (75,000).
